SD1 Mobile Installs

Right now, when you hear of SD1, what do you think of?  Probably nothing.  Let us clarify:  SD1 = S (Sun) D (down) 1 (One).  It is pronounced "Es-dee-wuhn".  But, don't worry.  Pretty soon, SD1 is going to take on a whole new meaning.  When you see SD1, you will know you are dealing with class, sophistication...or just plain bad [insert expletive here]!

Take a look at the following cars that we have made SD1-certified:

Do you have kids?  You probably like taking them on trips, but do you like to take them in your car on long trips?  (Are we there yet?)  Do they have to have their Playstation (or other gaming system), otherwise they cannot be satisfied?

Well, then, you need a couple of Alpine headrest monitors to keep your kids happy.  Add to that the gaming console and a DVD player and you can keep them happy for hours.

To keep your car safe, get a Viper 5900 security system.  And if it is hot or cold outside (and you would like the opposite inside), use the built-in remote start to regulate the inside temperatures.  Check the car out.

2005 Toyota Tacoma

When you think of 2 8" subwoofers, you probably think of little bass filler, not much boom but just subtle sound.  Think again.  Take 2 8" subwoofers and put them into a custom box with an Alpine PDX-5 amplifier and you've got yourself a booming system.

Now, let's take it a step further.  Do you want it to look good, as well?  You wouldn't think looks and boom could go together.  Once again:  think again!  This custom box features grey vinyl and carpet, matched perfectly to the interior (you don't have to worry about a brown-shoes-black-belt fiasco with an SD1 install), add to that a flash of silver (it's kind of a trademark thing), and you have yourself some class:  SD1 class.

2006 Ford Mustang GT

This car just got a sound upgrade.  Two Memphis M3 10" subwoofers in a custom, ported box, featuring black vinyl and a touch of silver, make for a great addition to the low-end of the audio frequency spectrum (yeah, that's right:  audio frequency spectrum).  Add to that, an Alpine IVA-W205 double-din in-dash video head unit and, well, you know what you have.  Here it is...

Do you want a box that is fully custom and totally [insert expletive here] awesome?  Do you want to put sound dampening on your trunk lid, but don't want to see the unsightly aluminum foil looking material?  Then, check this out.

Both the box and the trunk lid were outfitted with charcoal carpet and finished with some blue accents to complement not only the car but the Alpine 15" R-Type subwoofers as well.

Do you have a car in which the factory head unit has climate control displayed on it, but you want something more than factory?  Do you want upgraded functionality?  Do you want video?  An Alpine IVA-W505 double-din in-dash video head unit, perhaps?  That would look pretty good.

This is certainly not an unreasonable desire.  Sometimes, though, the car manufacturer or after-market manufacturers do not come up with an easy way to put double-din video into the car.  That is when you have to get into some custom work.  That is what you see here:  SD1 custom work.
