WHAT IS PARASOL?

We sell good products that last, but nothing’s bullet proof, and if something stops working correctly, it doesn’t always occur when our Open sign is turned on. Sometimes it’s right before kickoff or your favorite TV show is half an hour away from starting. Parasol provides 24/7/365 support for your home theater, automation, and networking products. Parasol has two Network Operations Centers located in Richmond, Virginia and Las Vegas, Nevada staffed 24/7/365. Parasol agents have previously worked for integrators as technicians or service personnel, which means they’re not reading from a script you could have read yourself with no more knowledge than you have.

THE PLATFORM

In order to see the health of your network and provide support solutions for your devices, Parasol selected OvrC Pro after thoroughly testing all the leading remote support solutions. Each system requires a single OvrC Pro Hub, which is included in select Araknis routers (110 and 310) or can be purchased as a stand-alone pro hub to work with non-OvrC-enabled systems.

PARASOL PLANS

There are two plan options: Parasol Essential ($29.95/month) and Parasol Enhanced ($49.95/month). Essential offers remote repair, app control, and 24/7/365 support via text, e-mail, and chat. Enhanced is the essential plan plus proactive remote repair (to fix problems you haven’t discovered yet) and call-in phone support.

Installation is very simple—all you need is an OvrC Pro Hub and you’re online. You don’t have to use all OvrC or SnapAV gear but keep in mind Parasol gets better with each piece of OvrC-enabled gear installed (such as WattBox network-controlled surge protectors that allow outlet-level control).
