IPFX-D40V-IRW3 is our next-generation FlexSmartAi POE dome camera. FlexSmartAi means it shares its AI detection skills with the NVR it’s hooked up to. The new IPFX-D40V even has a built-in audio microphone for local sound pickup and AI sound detection. With the new IRW3 version’s iMD 2.0’s camera-based metadata, that detection synergy enters a whole new dimension. AI-detected object information is analyzed in-camera, encoded as metadata, then streamed frame-by-frame with the video.

With IC Realtime's new AI-NVRs, streamed iMD 2.0 metadata powers IC Realtime’s next-gen and super-easy Object Search. A single “Select & Click” triggers an AI-powered search of all the NVR’s iMD 2.0 video channels at once. The NVR then lays out and displays what it finds to you. Previously requiring server-level power, iMD 2.0 builds a whole new level of capability directly into our FlexSmartAi ecosystem. The camera’s 4MP pixel density and enhanced tripwire & intrusion capabilities will also max out all recorder-based face & vehicle recognition features. And this advanced AI is also smart enough to maintain compatibility with earlier NVR iMD detection NVRs, too.
The Unblinking 24/7 Eye
The IRW3 series’s 4MP QHD Starlight video sensor streams in full color down to 0.005 with even the dimmest ambient light. In total darkness, 130+ feet of Smart IRs deliver sharp & detailed grayscale night vision. Lens angle & rotation are adjustable under the IPFX-D40V’s dome. Above the sensor, a 2.7mm – 13.5mm power zoom auto-focus lens lets you dial in a zoom variable 104°–29° horizontal FOV from the IC View+ app or an NVR's control panel.
Compact & Tough
With IPFX-D40V. all this Ai & hardware power plus IC Realtime’s suite of image management tools are fully enclosed & protected. The camera’s tough IK10 impact-resistant acrylic dome & metal IP67 weatherproof base are less than 4” tall & 5” around The IRW3’s compact dome’s base still fits the same wall arm mount, top cap & weatherproof junction box options as the previous version. The camera has the same wide 30% voltage tolerance, too.

With IC Realtime NVRs, video stream compression options add Smart H.265+ adaptive encoding to achieve up to 70% stream bandwidth savings over standard H.265.
